1. Data Protection at a Glance
General Notes
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website.
2. Data Collection on this Website
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.
Newsletter
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter.
3. Plugins and Tools
Google Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. These are installed locally, so that no connection to Google servers is established.
YouTube Videos (Two-Click Solution)
Videos from YouTube are embedded on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use a two-click solution: when a page loads, only a preview image stored on our own servers is displayed. No connection to Google servers is established and no data is transferred to Google. Only when you actively click a video is it loaded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment on, Google receives data such as your IP address and information about your browser. Data may also be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG). Your consent applies only to the respective playback; we do not store anything in your browser for this. If you do not play the video, no data is transferred to Google. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
Web Analytics (Umami)
We use the analytics software Umami, which we run on our own infrastructure. Umami does not set cookies and does not store any data on your device. Visits are analyzed exclusively in anonymized, aggregated form; they cannot be linked to individual persons. No data is passed on to third parties. Plays of embedded videos are also counted only as anonymous events, without any personal reference.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of how our website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since no data is stored on or read from your device and no cookies are set, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required.
